Privacy policy

Vibecheckqr gives local businesses one QR for reviews, rewards, bookings, orders and billing. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

If you're a customer of a business on Vibecheckqr

  • What we collect: the name and phone number you enter, and what you do on the business's page — check-ins and stamps, reviews and photos you post, bookings, orders, queue tokens, tickets and enquiries.
  • Why: so the business can give you rewards, confirm your booking or order, and contact you about it. The business is responsible for how it uses your details; we process them on its behalf.
  • Public vs private: public reviews show your first name, rating, text and photo on the business's page. Private feedback is only seen by the business. Your phone number is never shown publicly.
  • Messages: a business may send you WhatsApp or SMS messages about your visit, booking or rewards. Reply STOP or ask the business to stop at any time.
  • Your rights: you can ask us or the business to show, correct or delete your data. Email the address below with the business name and your phone number.

If you run a business on Vibecheckqr

  • We store your email (for sign-in), business profile, catalog and the data your customers create.
  • You own your business data. Export it any time; if you close your account we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (like payment invoices).
  • Only you and the team members you add can see your dashboard. Our team accesses it only to help you when you ask, or to keep the service secure.

Where data lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database and files, Vercel for hosting) with encryption in transit and at rest. Payments, when enabled, are processed by Razorpay — we never see card details.

We don't

  • sell personal data, or share a business's customer list with any other business;
  • hide or filter reviews based on their rating — customers choose whether feedback is public or private.
